About Me

I'm a project manager who enjoys leading teams to success. I have several years of experience working with clients and teams, helping them define the scope and estimations of their objectives and goals. I'm usually involved from the conception of a project, allocating resources, overseeing the development, testing and deployment with the team and making sure of provide enough information to stakeholders for decision making, finding deviations and applying corrective actions. Also part of the job is working with people, fostering the correct culture within the teams is very important so I work hard to create the ideal environment for candor and teamwork.

Tracking Projects

I love projects, each one is an oportunity to crearte new things, meeet new people, learn new technologies, etc, but is important to take care of it, so it develops and grow correctly, no one wants a project with bad quality results, or one that has exceeded the alloted time or budget planned for it. Keeping track of the schedule, giving information to stakeholders, make adjustement to mitigate deviations, work with the team to plan and execute correcting actions, that's part of the fun too!

Creating Teams

The most important part of a project is the people involved, so investing time to make sure they have the skills and kwnoledge is also important, but is more important than that is creating a real sense of self-manage, cooperation and colaboration, this will allow the team to work as a unit and overcome blockers with ease. This is part of my goals when working in any project make the people feel they can trust each other.

Design and Plan

Estimate and make a project plan is not easy, you need to consider a lot of variables that can influence the development of the project affecting time, budget and scope, i think i'm good at balancing them.

Manage Chance

Changes are part of any project, but you need to handle it so the impact does not hurt stakeholders goals of affect the development team, I try my best to achieve success on this.


People

People is the most important asset in any enterprise, I like to work with people, make them feel comfortable and connect with them. That allow me to have a team I can trust.


Process and Reports

Keep track of a project is key, so having the correct tools for this is important. I always try to provide the tools, process and standars for the team to follow so I can use that info to keep control of the project.

We complety overhouled the system, changing the architecture, infraestructure and design, we wanted to improve the cliente user experience and algo provide new services not possible before.

I worked closely with the development, marketing, call center and product teams facilitating meetings, organizing information and making reports, leading the teams until the product was ready.

I worked directly with the client transforming their ideas into an analysis, design, and construction of the application they needed. The team and I had to learn a lot of new things from the business to new techonolgies.

Asur Mobile

They wanted a mobile application too, one that worked on Android and iOS, so we build it. This is an application they use every day to keep track of the fauna in the airport.
