I love projects, each one is an oportunity to crearte new things, meeet new people, learn new technologies, etc, but is important to take care of it, so it develops and grow correctly, no one wants a project with bad quality results, or one that has exceeded the alloted time or budget planned for it. Keeping track of the schedule, giving information to stakeholders, make adjustement to mitigate deviations, work with the team to plan and execute correcting actions, that's part of the fun too!
The most important part of a project is the people involved, so investing time to make sure they have the skills and kwnoledge is also important, but is more important than that is creating a real sense of self-manage, cooperation and colaboration, this will allow the team to work as a unit and overcome blockers with ease. This is part of my goals when working in any project make the people feel they can trust each other.
Estimate and make a project plan is not easy, you need to consider a lot of variables that can influence the development of the project affecting time, budget and scope, i think i'm good at balancing them.
Changes are part of any project, but you need to handle it so the impact does not hurt stakeholders goals of affect the development team, I try my best to achieve success on this.
People is the most important asset in any enterprise, I like to work with people, make them feel comfortable and connect with them. That allow me to have a team I can trust.
Keep track of a project is key, so having the correct tools for this is important. I always try to provide the tools, process and standars for the team to follow so I can use that info to keep control of the project.
